I have been a member of Poparide for over 11 years. I have driven 671 people and shared 45,000 kms and saved over $9,000. And I can say without reservation I have been extremely happy with the services that Poparide has provided me and my passengers during those 11+ years. I have used the service primarily to travel between Vancouver and Whistler.

I’ve been using Poparide as both a driver and a passenger for over 8 years, and I’ve shared more than 16,000 km with fellow travellers - safely, affordably, and with great company.

I love this ridesharing app. It’s super intuitive and easy to book a ride in minutes. I use it a lot to travel because it’s cheaper than the bus or train and covers most big cities in Canada. I’ve driven more than 75 people myself between Quebec and Montreal and have been a passenger on 40+ occasions. I recommend this app wherever I go. All the passengers and drivers I’ve met were exceptional and we had a great experience together. My trick is to always bring a 20-pack of timbits when I share a ride; everyone appreciates it!

I drive every two weeks and almost each trip gets a booking. Each passenger have been a great experience. I look forward to make new acquaintances and friends.

This app is a game changer for me. I normally travel to Ottawa alone in my car. Now I drop with people making the journey more enjoyable.

Back in the day ride-sharing was over forums and you had to hope and trust everything was safe and worked out. This is a major step up, with a great process and reasonable prices. I have felt safe, connected, and valued on rides I've taken so far, and will definitely keep using it. Do much more pleasant and affordable than flying!

Poparide is fantastic. With two kids in university, each about 2 hours away in opposite directions, I was spending a lot of time alone in the car on the way to pick them up or after dropping them off. This app has allowed me to meet so many amazing people. I’ve heard very interesting stories from such a wide variety of riders. It’s also given me an opportunity to help a few young people who were brand new to the country and half a world away from home. 

Well designed and easy to use app is the main reason I have kept using the program since I started in late 2018. I also appreciate that all communications are recorded via the app so there’s no question of who said what, as well as the effort Poparide has put into it’s driver & passenger ID verification process.

I’ve been using Poparide for quite some time now — first as a passenger and now sometimes as a driver. It’s an excellent platform for easy, affordable, and reliable travel. Hosting rides has been a great way to share fuel costs and meet amazing people along the way. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves travelling smart and connecting with good company!

Poparide makes it easy to move between different cities. It is faster than traveling on a regular bus, and the fares are reasonable.
